Teaching at Paris Classical Academy

Teaching at Paris Classical Academy is a position of responsibility and example. Scripture reminds us that “a disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher” (Luke 6:40). For this reason, PCA teachers are expected to model intellectual discipline, moral integrity, and faithful Christian living.
Our faculty serve as guides in the classical tradition, instructing students through ordered learning, thoughtful engagement with great ideas, and consistent habits of virtue. Teaching at PCA requires a clear understanding of classical education as both a philosophy and a practice.
Applicants should be prepared to engage with foundational classical education texts, including writings by Perrin and Dorothy Sayers, in order to develop a shared understanding of the classical model. In addition, all prospective faculty must review and affirm alignment with Paris Classical Academy’s Statement of Faith.
We seek educators who are committed to academic excellence, faithful instruction, and the formation of students in wisdom and character.
In anticipation of future growth, we are currently taking employment applications in all academic disciplines for grade-levels K-12. All resumes received will remain “active” until all positions are filled. Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
Specifically, one position is already open for the 2026-27 academic year:
Elementary Education with emphasis on Reading
- bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree with experience preferred
- tuition assistance for faculty children
