Academics

Paris Classical Academy provides a rigorous, Christ-centered education that cultivates wisdom and virtue through the study of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.

Classical

Derived from the Latin term classicus, “classical” refers to “that which is of the first rank,” specifically “a work of acknowledged excellence and authority, or its author; originally used of Greek and Latin works or authors, but now applied to authors and works of a like character in
any language.” More broadly, “classical” refers to any work in literature, philosophy, theology, music, or art that has “stood the test of time” and has been judged historically and traditionally to be “excellent and authoritative” by Western scholars. “Classical” also refers to the classical languages Latin and Greek, the classical pedagogy known as “the Socratic Method,” and the classical absolutes of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

    Logic

    Grades 5-8

Focus: Developing logical reasoning and critical thinking skills.

      Rhetoric

      Grades 9-12

Focus: Expressing knowledge and arguments with eloquence and confidence.

        Collaborative

“Collaborative” refers to the following: Teachers and parents collaborate to implement the school’s curriculum on a five-day
schedule comprised of three on-campus and two off-campus days. Teachers provide off-campus homework, and parents ensure its completion before the next on-campus day.
