Our Mission
Paris Classical Academy partners with Christian parents to provide their children with a Christ-Centered classical education that cultivates critical thinking, independent thought, and the ability to resist cultural pressures. We equip our students with a sense of responsibility to exercise godly dominion in all areas of life.
What We Believe

The board of trustees, administration, faculty, employees, and parents of Paris Classical Academy mutually agree upon the following tenets of the Christian faith:
All human life is created by God in His image and is therefore sacred. Human life including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other state or condition from conception through natural death is inestimably valuable, and as Christians we are called to defend, protect, and value all human life.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).
God exists in three Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
Jesus Christ is God Incarnate, “very God of very God and very Man of very man,” Who was born of the virgin Mary, (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), lived an impeccably sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26), performed miracles (John 2:11), died a vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), rose bodily (John 11:25, 2 Corinthians 13:4), ascended to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and will return again bodily in power and glory. (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is necessary for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature. Sinners are justified by the shed blood of Christ and saved only by God’s grace through faith. (John 3:16-21, 5:24, Romans 3:23, 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:3-10, Titus 3:5).
The saved are the heirs of eternal life, and the lost are the heirs of eternal condemnation. (John 5:28-29).
All true believers are one in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers the Christian to live a godly life. (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).
God creates each individual male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect God’s image (Genesis 1:26-27). To reject one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. Therefore, believers should refrain from any and all attempts to physically change, alter, or disagree with their predominant biological sex—including but not limited to elective sex-reassignment, transvestite, transgender, or non-binary “genderqueer” acts or conduct (Genesis 1:26-28, Romans 1:26-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
“Marriage” is the union of one man and one woman in an exclusive relationship as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). Marriage reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:21-33). God has designed sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (I Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). No intimate sexual activity should be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
Any form of sexual immorality is sinful and offensive to God (Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-13, Leviticus 18:7-23, Leviticus 20:10-21, Deuteronomy 5:18, Matthew 5:27-28, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, Hebrews 13:4, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 4:17-19, Colossians 3:5).
God offers redemption and restoration to all who truly repent of their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; I Corinthians 6:9-11).
Every person should be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture or the doctrines of Paris Classical Academy.
Our Values

Paris Classical Academy embraces the following values:
Christ-Centered: While our constituency represents families of various Christian denominations, the trustees, administration, and faculty of Paris Classical Academy embrace orthodox Christianity as set forth in the Bible, the inspired Word of God and those creeds and confessions of faith that best express that orthodoxy.
Classical: Derived from the Latin term classicus, “classical” refers to “that which is of the first
rank,” specifically “a work of acknowledged excellence and authority, or its author; originally used of Greek and Latin works or authors, but now applied to authors and works of a like character in any language.” More broadly, “classical” refers to any work in literature, philosophy, theology, music, or art that has “stood the test of time” and has been judged historically and traditionally to be “excellent and authoritative” by Western scholars. “Classical” also refers to the classical languages Latin and Greek, the classical pedagogy known as “the Socratic Method,” and the classical absolutes of Goodness, Beauty, and Truth.
Covenantal: As a covenantal school, we “covenant” with like-minded parents who desire for their children to be brought up “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” and receive an education that emphasizes those time-honored practices and principles derived from the Judeo-Christian, Greco-Roman traditions undergirding that which is best in Western culture.
Collaborative: “Collaborative” refers to the following:
- Teachers and parents collaborate to synthesize traditional school with homeschooling.
- Students study on campus and at home an assigned number of days per week.
- The academy determines the curriculum, and parents supplement the curriculum according to their preferences.
We believe it is the parents’ responsibility to educate their child in a God-honoring way, and we feel privileged to come alongside them in this endeavor. The collaborative approach that we take is meant to facilitate parental involvement in every step of the learning process. Our students attend classes three days a week and are instructed by their parents the other two days. This allows parents to supplement with additional curriculum, to tutor to a child’s specific needs, or incorporate extracurricular activities not currently offered by Paris Classical Academy.
Our Vision

Paris Classical Academy endeavors to educate students to be righteous citizens in the Kingdom of God and virtuous citizens in the Kingdom of Man. The academy aims to cultivate in students an appreciation of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, and as those absolutes are declared in the sacred Word of God by special revelation and confirmed by the secular words and works of men in general revelation. The academy encourages students to be lifelong learners and influencers of their and future generations for the glory of God.
